It looks like a pendant and hangs like one, but the four independent components cannot, like many pendants, simply be removed and hung on some other chain. The sterling-silver foxtail chain (15") runs through the silver beads, down through the left side of each piece and back up through the right side, continuing on to complete the necklace. The spacers in between are sterling-silver tube beads, and of course, everything is patinated! The cabochon stones are, from the top: Aquamarine, Green Tourmaline, Amethyst, Citrines, Green Tourmaline, Rainbow Moonstone, and "Umbala" Garnets. Each shape measures between 1 and 1-1/4" wide; total height of all four shapes is 3-3/8".
