The Snake Ring

The Snake Ring, cast in 18K Yellow Gold using the ancient Lost-Wax Casting technique, was so named because of the snakiness of the shank, although it could be argued that the stone resembles a snake's eye as well. There have been as many interpretations of the shape as there are people who have seen it. The stone is a bi-color "watermelon" tourmaline, though the pink and green colors are more subtle than most tourmalines referred to as "watermelon;" the pink blends into the green rather than creating a distinct line between the colors.
