The links of this approximately 24-inch-long necklace were cast, using the ancient lost-wax casting technique, in solid Sterling Silver. Each one is unique, carved in wax, from scratch. The hand-knotted gemstone beads are Blue Fluorite, Aquamarine, Blue Topaz, White Moonstone, Clear Quartz, and Rainbow Moonstone, strung on pure silk.
The colors of the beads evoke something antique; the overall design something even older, like a necklace an ancient priestess might have worn. The silver shapes reminded me of the creatures who escaped from Pandora's box, hence the title.
