This started out as a part of another wall hanging, but was replaced by something else. So it sat for a while, unused...and quite forlorn. Until I got the notion to mount it on top of a thick piece of varnished bark, which I brought home from a trip to the San Jacinto mountains in California. (I found the bark already on the ground, in case you were concerned I ripped it off of a tree!)
