Untitled: Purple & Red
painting

In an effort to reclaim the joy of working with color, I plan to make more enameled paintings and sculptures than jewelry, for which I can't seem to find an audience. I can't wear all the jewelry I've made, but I can at least put small art pieces out on a table and enjoy them myself. This "painting," made with transparent and opaque enamel and bronze wire on 16-gauge copper, has one tiny crack in the enamel that I couldn't eliminate so I'm not putting it up for sale.
