"Unearthed" Pendant/Necklace

ENLARGE (requires Flash)

The Unearthed pendant has the appearance of an ornament uncovered in an archeological excavation. It has a rough and primitive grandeur and glamor, with its barklike surface, iridescent Mexican Black Opal cabochon and handmade headpins. The headpins secure the faceted garnet beads to the body of the pendant, which is treated with a bronzy-gold patina and clear lacquer. The approx. 16" necklace is composed of rough, unpolished natural citrine nuggets interspersed with patinated sterling silver rondelles and it has a matching, custom, sterling silver hook-and-eye clasp. The pendant measures 3-1/2 x 1-1/2 x 3/4".
