The original idea for this sculpture was to have all the parts sort of dangling, like ornaments on a Christmas tree. But after I constructed it, before enameling, it bothered me every time one of the parts would turn or swivel a direction that I didn't like. So I decided to solder all the parts together into the "perfect" fixed position.
Constructed from 10-gauge copper wire, 18-gauge copper sheet, and opaque enamel, it's approximately 4 inches wide (not including the stand) by 8 inches tall (including the brass stand from which it hangs).
