On our last trip to Rosarito, I was inspired to pay tribute to the simple exuberance of the Mexican crafts aesthetic. This was the second in a series of 4 necklaces.
This "bib"-style necklace is made up of 8 pendants in transparent shades of dark gold, rose pink, and emerald green enamel, on 20-ga. copper, joined by bronze wires that feature amber beads. The necklace is 49-strand steel cable and is strung with two types of Garnet, plus green Agate and two carved Fluorite, beads. It is finished with a handmade bronze clasp.
