Memorial Day is a painting made three-dimensional, from a digital illustration of mine of the same name (see bottom image).

It was carved in wax and cast in sterling silver, and has an iridescent bronze-colored patina (protected by lacquer) applied in some areas, with the silver highly polished in other places, while being left with a matte, sandpapered finish elsewhere.

This 3-1/4 " x 2-7/8" pendant hangs from a 19-inch sterling silver chain with a custom-made sterling silver toggle clasp.
