Exuberation #2

After I made the neutral, earthy-toned Enamel With Amber Pendant, I had an urge to make something more attention-grabbing. I made two similar pendants, mainly because one can never tell what sort of accidents might occur in the kiln. Happily, both pendants survived all their firings and came out looking so nice that I had to make necklaces out of both of them.

Exuberation #2 is transparent enamel on 18-ga. copper, backed with a shape created from 20-ga. bronze sheet, approximately 2" wide. Hanging in front is an Amber bead, and it all hangs from a silky, gold, 26" cord, with handmade bronze end caps and clasp.
