I really got carried away with cloisonne on this one! It was like bingeing (but now I've cut back a little). I had almost completely visualized this one in my mind before I did it, and it came out looking pretty much the way I had envisioned it.
This 1-1/4 x 2-1/4 inch pendant utilizes opaque black and white, and transparent brown (several shades) enamels on 18-ga. copper, with 20-ga. bronze wire for the "cloisons." (That's French for "partitions" or "cells.") It hangs from a 21-inch silky, brown cord and is finished with a handmade bronze hook-and-eye clasp.
